Ecuador struck by 6.7 magnitude earthquake
A strong earthquake of 6.7 Richter scale forced Ecuador to evacuate early on Wednesday 18th May, 2016. Ecuadorians resented having it after a much larger quake that killed over 600 people. People couldn’t tolerate having this quake at 2:57am; it is too much horror. President Rafael Correa persuaded people to not to worry about any tsunami on his twitter. “There is no tsunami alert”, he wrote. He also convinced people to calm after this latest earthquake. The President encouraged people from Quito to go back inside their homes. He urged the authorities to report minor damage in parts of Manabi and nearby Esmeraldas province. Ecuador didn’t anticipate having another quake after the worst in decades. Authorities forbade people to keep living in those damaged areas, and instructed them to live in open areas. Nature is challenging Ecuador to be prepared. This disaster is postponing getting businesses’ goals in time. It’s daring Ecuador to overcome this misfortune. Ecuador will hire more people to reconstruct the country.
