Vocabulary

1. Command (v): /kəˈmɑːnd/ Comandar
An official order.
Example: Charles always commands his personal in the army.

2. Convey (v): /kənˈveɪ/ Transmitir
To communicate ideas or feelings indirectly.
Example: Christina conveys her ideas to her classroom.

3. Demand (n): /dɪˈmɑːnd/ Demanda
A very firm statement that you want something.
Example: Carlos thinks the demand of computers is increasing.

4. Disarm (v): /dɪsˈɑː(r)m/ Desarmar
To take someone´s weapons so that they can no longer use them.
Example: We know how to disarm old riffles.

5. Fade (v): /feɪd/ Desvanecer
Gradually becomes less clear or noticeable unitl it finally disappears.
Example: Esther fades in the forest when he walks into it.

6. Faithful (adj): /ˈfeɪθf(ə)l/ Leal
Be someone’s friend, even in a difficult situation.
Example: Marcus is a faithful person who believes in God.
