‘The new printer machine’

How was your day at the office? Did you and your co-workers enjoy yourselves? I didn’t enjoy myself. My co-workers didn’t enjoy themselves, either! They got a new copy machine last week. The secretary and I always get our copies on the third floor, so the manager thought it would be a good idea to have one on our floor. Now he is kicking himself. I myself thought it was a good idea for our team work. I never thought about how difficult it might be to keep a copy machine working well. We have no one to blame but ourselves.

Some of the problems that the copy machine has presented are paper jam, and wrinkled papers. The reason for paper jam is that my new co-worker Alan uses the wrong paper size to take photocopies and this causes the copies to pull paper through incorrectly, resulting in a jam that delays all our copies and prints. For another side, there is nothing professional for the secretary to insist on using damaged papers to present copies during the meetings which cause wrinkled papers that look like they were dug out of a student’s backpack. We all have to wait in line to use the copier which slows down our work. In conclusion, the remedy was not good. I still find myself and others from my area going to the third floor.
